Welcome to the Lily of the Valley Family
Our Beginning
Lily of the Valley Orphanage began through the faith and obedience of Pastor John and Marie Sorrentino, who answered God's call to provide a safe and loving home for children in need. In May of 1988, through an incredible series of miracles, the Lily of the Valley Orphanage opened in Playas de Tijuana, Mexico. Through their dedication and sacrifice, a ministry was born that has impacted the lives of hundreds of children.
Today, the legacy continues. After Pastor John's passing from the temporal to the eternal, Marie continues to provide wisdom and support, while their son John Sorrentino and daughter-in-law Julie Sorrentino oversee the daily operations of the orphanage, carrying forward the same mission and vision that began with their parents.
About Lily of the Valley Orphanage
Lily of the Valley Orphanage is a loving home in Tijuana, Mexico, where children in need are welcomed into a family environment filled with care, support, education, and the love of Christ.
Our mission is to provide children who have experienced difficult circumstances with a safe and loving home where they can grow physically, emotionally, spiritually, and academically. Through our home and school, we provide the care, education, and support children need to build a hopeful future.

The Mission and Purpose of the Lily of the Valley Orphanage are:
- Providing a safe and loving home where children receive care, protection, and support.
- Meeting each child's daily needs, including nutritious food, clothing, personal care, and a safe place to call home.
- Providing an education through our school and supporting each child's growth and development.
- Creating an environment where children can experience the love of Christ and the hope found through Him.
